Second TK Maxx Store For HomeCo

International off-price retailer TK Maxx has announced 2 May as the official opening date of its latest store, opening at HomeCo Braybrook in Melbourne’s west.

This will be the forty-seventh TK Maxx store in Australia, and the second to open within the HomeCo portfolio, with the first opening at HomeCo Upper Coomera in Queensland last year.

“We’re thrilled to bring TK Maxx to shoppers at Braybrook,” said Clare Willenberg, TK Maxx Australia spokesperson. “Every TK Maxx store offers a different assortment of brands and products and the selection changes constantly, so there will always be something fresh and exciting to discover. Visitors to our new Braybrook store can also expect to find a unique range of Mother’s Day gifts such as luxury knitwear, candles, beauty sets and sleepwear.”

TK Maxx is an off-price retailer that sells a huge assortment of big names, top brands, up-and-coming labels, high quality fashions and one-off gems at a great discount to the price in a department store or on the high street. The company’s business model of opportunistic buying and no-frills operations means savings are passed on to customers, delivering a significant value-proposition.

David Di Pilla, Chairman of Home Consortium, believes TK Maxx is a perfect fit for the HomeCo concept. “Three of the key elements of the HomeCo proposition are value, convenience and unexpected inspiration, and TK Maxx delivers each of these. HomeCo is all about bringing the best brands to communities all over Australia, and making shopping as easy and enjoyable as it can be. We’re very pleased with the alignment of TK Maxx, as one of the world’s most progressive retailers, and HomeCo, validating our unique approach to convenience retailing in Australia.”

HomeCo Braybrook is an everyday-needs centre, and home to a number of iconic Australian brands, including Coles, Liquorland, BCF, Chemist Warehouse, Australia Post and a number of beauty and wellness stores and local eateries.
